The UK's housing crisis isn't a supply problem — it's a funding infrastructure problem.
Developers are ready to build. Lenders are ready to fund. The pipeline between them just hasn't been modernised. Until now. We're the operators who've spent decades in UK property development and specialist development finance — building the marketplace we always wished existed.

Our story
Bridging the gap between borrower and lender.
Assesr was founded by Daniel and Jeremy. We've sat on both sides of the table — packaged the deals, written the credit papers, fought for terms, and watched perfectly good schemes die in the gap between borrower and lender.
That gap is mostly translation work. Translating a developer's story into a format a credit committee can decide on. The technology is finally good enough to do that translation properly — but only if it's been taught what an experienced development finance underwriter actually looks for.
That's what we're building. A borrower-facing marketplace that knows what a credit paper looks like — because we taught it, line by line.
Our journey
From frustration to product.
The idea
Jeremy and Daniel meet — discover the same frustration from opposite sides of the table.
First prototype
AI credit paper engine built. First deals packaged in minutes, not months.
Private beta
Borrowers and lenders onboarded. Marketplace goes live with full credit papers.
Scaling
Growing the lender panel, automating more of the pipeline, expanding deal coverage.
The team
The lender who knows what gets approved. The technologist who automates it.
Assesr exists because one of us spent years getting deals across the line with lenders, and the other spent years building AI systems that could do that analysis in minutes. We both come from property — one from the lending side, one from the investing side — and neither of us could find a product that understood both.
Decades in UK development finance and construction - structuring loans, sitting inside credit committees, running building sites, and placing debt across the capital stack. Jeremy knows what gets a deal approved and what kills it before it reaches the term sheet. He's negotiated on both sides of the table and understands the exact sequence of questions a lender asks. That knowledge is baked into every credit paper Assesr produces.
AI obsessive and relentless early adopter. New models, new capabilities, new breakthroughs — they're in production within hours, not months. In an industry still running on PDFs, phone calls, and spreadsheets from 2005, Daniel keeps Assesr on the bleeding edge. Backed by years of hands-on property investment, portfolio management, and development finance as a borrower — so every decision Assesr makes is grounded in how deals actually work, not how they look on paper.
Built in the UK, for UK development finance.
Every part of Assesr is purpose-built for the UK market — English planning law, Companies House checks, RICS valuations, UK lender mandates, and the specific way credit committees in this country make decisions. This isn't a US product adapted for the UK. It's built here, by people who operate here.
